How to do it
The middle of the flat part of your shoulder blade, about a third of the way down from the bony ridge at the top of the blade toward its bottom tip. It is often tender when you find it. No reach? Put a tennis ball between your back and a wall or doorframe, lean in and bend your knees a little to roll it onto the spot. Or ask a friend to press with their thumbs. Or reach across your chest and under the opposite arm with your fingertips.
